As always, there is a lot happening this month. First, I would like to congratulate Lanie and Seamus on the arrival of their first child, Diarmuid. Congratulations to both of you, from the entire wildernessFusion family. Please read Lanie's article that follows to learn more about the arrival experience.
With Lanie on maternity leave and with my busy schedule, registration for the fall start healing 1 class has fallen a little behind schedule. I have decided to postpone the start date for h1 until January. Although not ideal, considering everything that is going on, this seems to be the best solution for getting started on the right foot for this year's east coast healing 1. For those who wish to register, you can always do that online. Lanie will be back in the office in early October.
I would also like to announce that Abby Carl, our incredible logistics coordinator, will be taking a larger role in the administration of wildernessFusion. For those of you who know Abby, you realize how lucky we are that she wants to join our administrative team. Her skill, will, and attitude will be welcome additions. Please join me in welcoming Abby to this larger role.
In last month's newsletter, I began examining call/recall in the context of journey. Pat and I were able to embody this teaching the last few weeks during a much-needed vacation to Scotland. We walked the West Highland Way, and our journey has led to an interesting exploration of place. We hope to begin sharing this journey with you in the next few months. So stay tuned as we explore new territory and expand the container of wildernessFusion.
